Introduction 11/17/2020
I was born in Georgia but have lived in 5 states and 2 countries total in my travel's as an ARMY Brat. My longest standing state of residence has been Maryland, at just over seven years. I currently reside in Havre De Grace and am doing college from home during the pandemic.
I have wanted to be an engineer since I was a little kid and have carried that dream into my college career. I have skills in a multitude of CAD programs, can program in C#, can build using the Unity Engine, and have some physical workshopping skills. I also have been on multiple Robotics teams and have taken leadership positions in some of them.

I also have a longstanding participation in Scouting, starting in second grade in Cub Scouts, going up until now as a volunteer Adult Leader in my Troop. I have served in a range of leadership positions, from leading the new Scouts to leading my entire Troop.

In my spare time I work as an intern for Aberdeen Proving Grounds’ super-computing center, CISD. My hobbies include playing video games with my friends, making cosplay props, and sometimes drawing.

At UMD I look forward to working with a multitude of students with different backgrounds, to working in advanced research settings, and participating in activities I normally would not get at other colleges. Through Scholars I hope to diversify my own leadership style, and to apply what I learn to improve my leadership in specific situations.
